A silly place filled with caffeine induced ramblings of this person named KarmaGirl....or something.

I am seeing a bunch of hit and miss posts about issues that people are having.  However, it is impossible for the web programmers to find the reports in this fashion.  Though Cordelia can relay the messages, she can't actually fix the issues (as can none of us expect the web team).

So, please post your issues here.  *BUT*, when you do, make sure that you are giving every detail possible.  A "this site is acting odd" report will get us nowhere.  Post when, where, and how the problem occurred.  Also let us know what browser you are using and if you have already tried cleaning your cookies.  Reproducible issues are easiest to track (with info on how to reproduce them) so, please try to reproduce the issue prior to reporting it.

Please remember that the more info you provide, the more likely it can be fixed.

I'm having a hard time creating new articles. The screen takes a very long time, more than 5 mins, to give me access to start writing. When I think that I can now write, I can't move the cursor up or down the screen and clicking to write in the Title box, I get the same thing - nothing, just a "waiting to access www.http:wellness-serenity......can't remember the rest. I'm on my home computer now, but it happens when I'm not on my home computer as well.

And I'm having a hard time waiting to view/read anything on the site.

So glad I finally found this to write something!

I'm getting something like this.  HUGE LAG when I go to the new article page.

I mentioned this in a reply in another article here, but I'll bring it up here too -- the formatting is completely bogus when you bring up JU via Internet Explorer 7.

I can't speak of IE6, but things are fine in FireFox. Normally I'd be browsing here using IE7, but lately I'm forced to use Firefox since the sidebar shows up at the bottom of the list of recent articles rather than on the side as it should.

Apologies if I'm missing previous comments noting this, but I'm curious too when we'll see a way to see more than just 6 top blogs and such?

I had this happen once earlier today with IE6 - thought it was a fluke, now not so sure. Can't recall if was in Articles or Forum, though latter is my usual hangout.

Can we get a list of html tags that we can not use in our blogs and responses? Without the list, it's hard to tell if something is broken or just not allowed

As an example, I wanted to post a chess match I played in a blog response. A different site generates this from what is known as a pgn file, then they generate the link you need to include in your blog. You put it in much like you'd put in a youtube video.

The code for the game was in an iframe tag, and so I immediately imagined that iframes weren't supported in JU2. Confirmation or is it just not working?

I tried a different method using javascript, but that didn't work either. Figured it was worth a try.

Have a request: It would be really helpful to get the navigation bar (Home > XXXX > XXXX) back at the top on the Forums home page - it's on all the other forum pages, just not that one.

I have just about got a handle on everything else...knock on wood...but how do you print an aritcle? Without using the toolbar at the top of the page...which then will print pages worth of stuff. The old system had a print icon right in the article's window, is that not possible anymore? If not, what is the procedure?

Good news, I was able to post something! I see the message is different on my screen when I'm waiting, thx! I'm still a bit slow so I'll clear my cookies and see if that helps. It's difficult loading, takes a while and even my key board is acting like those martial arts movies I love!LOL! [you hear the speech long before/after the lips are moving!] In other words, I'm typing and my keyboard is still on the first letter while I'm blasting away! I don't have a fancy keyboard so I don't think it's my keyboard. I'll log off and clear cookies and try again later! Thx for keeping up you guys, great work!

We're aware of speed/lag issues with the post editor and are looking into what's causing them and how to fix it.

When I click on "my replies" it won't go anywhere. The page simply refreshes itself. I know I posted this on a different article, but due to the fact that I don't know which ones I've replied to, I can't remember which one it was.

Thanks for any help.

Also, I can't comment on articles. I can go to the forums and comments, but not even a cursor shows up when I go to the articles on someone besides my own blog sites.

That sentence was poorly worded. Sorry.

The My Replies link is working here now.

Ran into an interesting error submitting Reply #213 above. Got the following error message after clicking the Submit Reply button: The reply posted without problem (I could see it behind the error message) but when I hit the OK button on the error message I was taken to a Page Not Found error page. The Enter button still does not work in the Reply box when posting from within SDC which is why the formatting is strange here. Doesn't work in the Edit Reply box, either. Strangely, didn't get the error posting this reply.

I haven't read all the reponse so forgive me if I'm repeating....I set up Windows Live, thanks to your instructions, it was easy! (Mike) I posted from it today, it was great, really easy, the only thing is my publishing the post went right into Personal Computing!  So there I was srambling trying to find the edit button before some irage geek grab a hold of me thinking I did it deliberately...whew!  I managed to switch it to the correct one!  So, how do I stop that from happening again?

Mine too!  And I only see my articles up to December 23 of last year.  Usually on the Forums I can see them all when I check.   If they're still there but not yet available, don't worry, I just want to know they are not lost.

Oh and each time I go to the Forums, I can't comment on anyone's thread.
